People usually seek mountain biking enjoyment in the mountains, but we have found is a passage through the mountains, along our abandoned and mysterious tunnels under the Peca mountain. What we offer is a guided cycling tour for more than 5 km, along an illuminated path from one valley to another, where you can enjoy a safe and unforgettable adventure.
CYCLE ROUTE UNDER THE MOUNTAIN
Already in Roman times lead ore was dug under the Peca Mountain. About 800 km of tunnels were made from 1665 until the end of the last century, when digging lead ore was stopped. The majority of tunnels were made in the solid rock.

The ore and the waste material were transported from the mine by special cars along transportation tracks. Nowadays, this unique, more than five kilometres long cycling route runs through such tunnels. |
MOUNTAIN BIKE ADVENTURE

The starting point for this adventure is the Mining Museum in Mežica, where the guide with necessary equipment will be waiting for you. |
We will drive you to the mine entrance, which is two kilometres away.
The exit from the mine is in another valley, from where you will descend on the road to The Mining Museum at Glančnik, where the hired equipment should be returned and the bikes could be washed.
In case of bad weather transfer could be arranged. |
