The Koroš estate is a typical Corinthian mountain farm that has its own woods, pastures, orchards and fields.

On the fields, lying on steep terrain, we grow potatoes as well as rye and spelt. We bake our own bread from the harvested grain. 

There is a wide selection of vegetables in the two gardens: different kinds of lettuce, parsley, celery, leek, onions, garlic, carrots, beetroots, turnips, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, mangold, peas, pumpkins, beans etc. In hotbeds we grow tomato plants.   

We grow our own herbs: sage, tarragon, the common rue, thyme, marjoram, lovage, basil, mint, balm-mint, camomile, pot marigold, saffron and chive. In the orchard mainly old kinds of apples, pears, plums, currants, cherries and sour cherries grow.

We also have blueberries, woodland strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, mushrooms and various herbs for tea (elder, linden, nettle, milfoil, etc.

The animals are freely bred. They are free to go out of the stable and are pastured from April to October. Cows and calves are together all the time and since the calves suckle from their mothers, it often happens that we have to buy milk from neighbours. We also produce most of the fodder ourselves.
